The 4.25-5.25m tine cultivators Cultus 425-525 and Cultus HD 425-525 sets a new standard in the mounted tine cultivator segment. The machines has a design adapted to modern size tractors, treating the mounted cultivator segment equal to the trailed. A key performance indicator of a cultivator tine is its ability to keep its high force to the soil at all times. This is where Cultus and Cultus HD stands out from the crowd. If meeting a heavy obstacle, the tine is able to fully release out of the soil to pass the obstacle while saving stress on tine and frame. When re-entering the soil, it will however keep its full power to quickly return to working position. In this way the machine is able to ensure an extremely accurate depth precision, resulting in excellent tillage results over the entire field.

The heart of the machine is the heavy-duty Cultus HD tines. With a release force up to 680kg, Cultus HD will keep its depth in a full range of conditions. Set depth is delivered in all soils, all working depths.

The Cultus tine is designed for high performance during a long working life. With a very effective stone release at 480kg and horizontally mounted double springs.

All Väderstad tine cultivators are equipped with the unique MixIn shin as standard. The MixIn shin throws the material forwards instead of upwards, which otherwise is the usual direction. When it has landed, the material passes by the tines once again, and the mixing and crumbling effect is doubled. The forward movement further enhances the straw distribution, leading to a more even crop emergence. The unique MixIn shin provide superior mixing and crumbling, without increasing fuel costs.

The rotating leveller ensures an optimal performance in varying conditions and handles residues very well. The star-shaped leveller discs are more forgiving than standard discs when adjusting working depth. This minimizes the need of adjustments.

The automatic leveller adjustment system Dynamic Control ensures the levellers are always working in the optimal position. This takes away the need for manual adjustment, and the driver does not have to worry about the important levelling performance.

The packer transfers intense vibrations into the cultivator frame. By suspending the packer with rubber, the sharp shocks are eliminated and the frame working life increases drastically.
